About Me

I am currently a Staff Scientist at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development in the R/Bioconductor-powered Team Data Science group led by Leonardo Collado-Torres. I work to analyze bulk and single nucleus RNA sequencing, as well as spatially resolved transcriptomic data.

I am also pursuing a part-time PhD in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge with Mina Ryten, Studying complex brain disorders through the analysis of spatially-resolved and single nucleus transcriptomics data.

Previously, I earned a Professional Science Master’s in Bioinformatics from Temple University in 2019, after a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Computer Science in 2018. During my time at Temple university I was involved in research at the Institute of Genomics and Evolutionary Medicine with Sudhir Kumar, studying phylogenetic applications to study evolutionary timing for species divergence, viral diseases, and cancer cell evolution.
